Nascar Sharpie 500 Picks

Online NASCAR wagering fans will have the pleasure of enjoying one of the most storied races on the Sprint Cup schedule on Saturday. Yes, it will be a good ol’ fashioned night race! Under the lights just like the races daddy used to take you to. And indeed, experience and family ties will both play a key role in this week’s clash as we look at the six must-haves for Bristol!

Dale Earnhardt Jr.
As if you couldn’t pinpoint that segway before. His pops could sure race at Bristol, and he passed the genes down to No. 88! Junior has finished eleventh or better in each of his last ten races at Thunder Valley, and that’s unlikely to change this week. Another thing that runs in the family: A flare for the dramatic. What’s more dramatic than a night race at Bristol? The image itself just screams NASCAR! As long as he avoids a wreck, bettors should look for him to be in contention all night long.

Greg Biffle
Nobody has a better average finish at Bristol than the Biff (9.7). The No. 16 driver is the kind of no-nonsense, aggressive driver that is traditionally successful on short tracks. He also has six top tens in his last seven starts here, and true to his style, he’s not going to take his foot off the gas this week! Biffle should offer some nice value for a racer that is a very legitimate threat in this race.

Kyle Busch
The reigning king of NASCAR has the upper hand on many of the former champions at Bristol—he’s won a race here in the Car of Tomorrow. To allude to family ties once again, both him and his brother Kurt have been masterful at this track. Kyle specifically has four top tens in his past five starts at this track, and if BetUS sportsbook customers have learned anything this year, it’s that it’s foolish to at least not sprinkle on the younger Busch every week.

Carl Edwards
Kyle Busch’s only real competitor this season has slowly crept up on him with another win at Michigan! Sure, he hasn’t had tremendous success at Bristol in the past, but sometimes in racing, momentum is everything. Not to mention that outside of Thunder Valley, he dominates on concrete tracks, so much so that NASCAR legend Rusty Wallace has adorned him Concrete Carl. Can he continue his streak? I’d bet on it!

Bobby Labonte

On a cramped, short track such as Bristol, often respect counts for a lot. Wrecks are very prevalent at this track due to its tight confines, however racers will often accord veteran racers some respect in messy situations. Labonte has improved significantly since he joined Petty Enterprises, and just might surprise some people here. Deep sleeper.

Kevin Harvick
Still some bad blood with Greg Biffle, so always be on the lookout for a crash when those two get cozy with one another! Nonetheless, Harvick’s success at Bristol cannot be ignored by the online NASCAR betting community. His average finish is better than tenth, and that’s over the course of fifteen races. My Consistency should keep it rolling this week!
