The Detroit Lions 10-4 (7-7 ATS) need a road win against the Chicago Bears 5-9 (5-9 ATS) in order to keep their lead in the NFC North. Visit Cappers Picks daily for our latest free NFL picks all season long.
This is my favorite game of the week from a betting standpoint, as the Buffalo Bills 8-6 (8-6 ATS) take on the Oakland Raiders 2-12 (7-7 ATS). Visit Cappers Picks daily for free NFL picks all season long.

Buffalo is in a tough position after losing last week, but they’re far from out of the wild card race.

This is a tough game, but the Bills are good at home. However, GB has won five in a row and is playing great.
The Packers have been incredible since their bye week. The offense is piling up the points and the defense is playing well enough to win games. However, GB is just 3-3 in road games so far this season.
[dfads params=’groups=63753&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]
If you’re going to beat GB it has to be away from Lambeau where they’re 7-0 this year. Green Bay comes into this game averaging 32.5 PPG (1st), 273.2 PYPG (6th) and 114.3 RYPG (14th) on offense.
Eddie Lacy is a bit banged up, but listed as probable for this match-up. The Packers offense will need to be on their game because the Bills defense allows 18.5 PPG (4th), 212.8 PYPG (5th) and 99.2 RYPG (8th).
Buffalo has lived on their defense this season and will have to again this week.

Since putting Orton in at QB the Bills offense has improved, but they’re still below average in most statistical categories.
The Bills are averaging 21.6 PPG (19th), 230.9 PYPG (17th) and 96.3 RYPG (25th). Orton threw for over 350 yards last week against Denver, but they couldn’t finish drives and they only scored 17 points.
I expect Buffalo to have more success this week against a Packers defense that has been allowing teams to average 23.4 PPG (18th), 245.2 PYPG (20th) and 129.2 RYPG (25th). Those numbers simply don’t cut it.
The defense may not hurt the Packers this week, but it will come playoff time. Rodgers and the offense can only put up so many points. GB has to do a better job at stopping opposing teams from scoring.
It’s going to be windy in Buffalo and close to 0 degrees, so it’ll be a cold one.
[dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]
I don’t think that’ll give the Bills an edge because the Packers are used to playing in the cold as well and it won’t bother them.
Green Bay and Buffalo rarely play each other, so the H2H trends are useless. Both teams are motivated, as the Packers are trying to keep the lead in the NFC North and the Bills are just trying to stay alive.
Buffalo Bills +4 (-110)
At the end of the day I’ll take the home underdog. Green Bay may win, but I don’t think they’re going to put up too many points.
I expect the Bills to hold GB to 27-28 points and they’ll score enough to cover.
