You have to go about your pre-season NFL handicapping much different than if this were actually a regular season meeting between non-conference teams. There’s a number of different ways to go about your business, but this NFLX wagering article is all about the head coaches.
You know, the guys with the head sets on that look as if they do nothing throughout the entire game; at least a majority of them anyway. Its different strokes for different folks come pre-season time, and you can get a great handle on who cares and who doesn’t just by looking at their career NFLX SU and ATS records.
Some coaches want to evaluate the talent they have on their roster and don’t care about the final outcome, while other coaches are more concerned with instilling a winning attitude and want to win at all costs. It all depends on how the team finished its previous season. Did they make the playoffs? Did they just miss out? Did they get slaughtered on a week-to-week basis much like the Miami Dolphins did just a short season ago? Is there a brand new coach leading the franchises way? These are all the questions you have to ask yourself before testing the dangerous waters of the NFL pre-season.
The following is a list of all 32 Head Coaches splits in the pre-season throughout their careers. Take a gander and you’ll see who cares and who doesn’t. Best of luck padding your rolls before the regular season starts!!!
