NBA Basketball Betting - Kings Looking To Crown Blazers
The Sacramento Kings, (23-28 SU, 28-23
ATS, 25-22-4 O/U), have apparently given
up on reaching the postseason this year
after trading point guard Mike Bibby
to the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday for
point guards Anthony Johnson and Tyronn
Lue, 2006 first-round pick Shelden Williams,
veteran forward Lorenzen Wright and a
2008 second-round pick, and possibly
getting ready to trade enigmatic forward
Ron Artest.
The Portland Trailblazers, (28-24 SU,
27-25 ATS, 20-31-1 O/U), unlike their
western conference counterparts, have
plenty to play for coming into their
first post all-star break game as they
look to make the postseason behind young
stars Brandon Roy, (19.7 ppg) and LaMarcus
Aldridge, (17.0 ppg, 7.4 rpg).
Each team however, comes into this matchup
riding multiple-game losing streaks as
the Kings have dropped three straight
and Portland, four straight.
"We're just not sharp right now
- executing, offensively, defensively.
We're having breakdowns in key situations
and we don't have both units playing
well", coach Nate McMillan said.
To make matters worse, neither team
has covered the spread very much recently

Bibby and his solid three-point shooting.
