MLB Online Baseball Wagering Action - Indians Host Twins
Alright
BetUS online MLB baseball bettors,
after winning three of four games last
week, the Minnesota Twins, (31-33, 37-27
RL) are struggling in a big way, having
dropped five consecutive games coming
into tonight’s sports betting matchup,
including an emphatic four-game sweep
at the hands of the Chicago White Sox
that concluded with Monday’s 7-5
loss.
While the
Twins weren’t expected
to be much more than a middle-of-the-pack
AL team this season, the Cleveland Indians,
(29-35, 28-36 RL) were expected to be
legitimate contenders for the American
League Pennant this season, but have
failed to live up to their spring training
hype in a big way for online sports bettors
who like to wager on MLB baseball.
While the Indians
managed to beat the equally dismal Detroit
Tigers 8-2 on Monday, the Indians have
won just four of their last ten games
overall in the BetUS Sportsbook.

MLB Baseball Betting Tips!
Minnesota has been plagued lately by
poor starting pitching, failing to get
a quality outing from a starter in 11
consecutive games.
"You try
to stay positive," Minnesota
catcher Joe Mauer told the team's official
Web site. "We know what kind of
guys we have on this staff and we definitely
know they are capable."

The Twins will turn to right-hander
Scott Baker (2-0, 4.03 ERA) to help the
club end its losing ways for the online
sports wagering community. Baker had
a strong outing in his last start, limiting
the Baltimore Orioles to two runs on
five hits in five innings last Thursday,
though the Twins ended up losing 3-2.
The Indians
will counter with 2007 AL Cy Young
award winner, C.C. Sabathia (3-8, 4.81),
who went 4-1 with a 1.51 ERA against
the Twins last season but has struggled
mightily all season long. Sabathia
allowed four runs on nine hits in eight
in six innings in Thursday’s
9-4 loss to the Texas Rangers, though,
in his defense, he has received an average
of just 2.0 runs of support in his last
five starts.
Here
is a look at tonight’s online
sports wagering key trends followed by
my MLB online betting Free Picks.
The Twins
are 4-1 in Baker’s last
five starts vs. American League Central.
The Twins
are 4-1 in Baker’s last
five starts during game one of a series.
The Indians
are 12-3 in Sabathia’s
last 15 Tuesday starts.
The Indians
are 2-5 in Sabathia’s
last seven home starts.
The Over
is 4-0-1 in Baker’s last
five starts on grass.
The Under
is 4-0 in Sabathia’s
last four home starts vs. a team with
a losing record.
The Under
is 5-0-1 in Sabathias’ last
six starts vs. Twins.
The Under
is 4-0 in Baker’s last
four starts vs. Indians.
Analysis:
I know that Cleveland’s
C.C. Sabathia has struggled nearly all
season long and has looked, for the most
part, nothing like the dominating pitcher
who won 19 games and the AL Cy Young
award last season, but I like the Cleveland
Indians to break out their bats long
enough to finally give Sabathia some
decent run support while winning this
contest.
