MLB Betting - Baseball's Best and Worst Road Money Teams
While the ability to make winning wagers
on the road is often more difficult than
it is when MLB wagering on home teams,
the fact stands, that it is certainly
not impossible to make baseball bankroll-increasing
wagers in the BetUS Sportsbook, when
bettors are either diligent enough in
their research or pointed in the right
direction by someone who has done the
legwork for them.
And guess what MLB bettors?
I’ve
done the legwork.
Here is
a look at the best and worst road money
teams in all of baseball, those clubs
whose ability to win on the road and
cover for bettors in the process – is
absolutely priceless.
Top Five Road Money Teams
Florida Marlins + $610 (11-8)
The Marlins have put up big numbers
on the road and have generally surprised
all season but will have to be watched
carefully as the rest of the NL East
pack, (New York, Philadelphia) starts
to hit its collective stride.

Los Angeles Angels + $554 (14-9)
Ahh, my beloved Angels are back at it
again, making more money for the BetUS
MLB Betting Community. This team made
me a ton of money last season and will
do so again with their underrated pitching
staff, powerful bats and steady-as-a-rock
manager, Mike Scioscia.
Houston Astros + $476 (14-14)
Maybe it’s me, but something tells
me the Astros may just be for real this
season. If this team’s pitching
doesn’t falter, I say ride em’ hard.
Oakland
A’s + $397 (12-12)
I say jump
on the A’s while they’re
hot because I sense a drop-off coming.
While I like Oakland’s ability
to produce quality young arms almost
every year, this team is sorely lacking
at the plate and will likely start to
pay for it sooner rather than later.
However, until I see proof of them beginning
to falter on the road, I say ride this
team.
Chicago White Sox + $322 (14-13)
The White
Sox are on a roll right now, getting
spectacular starting pitching and quality
timely hitting. I say ride the ChiSox
while they’re hot.
Bottom Five Road Money Teams
While mom
always told me, ‘you’ve
got to take the bad with the good,’ she
sure didn’t mean when it comes
to betting. Simply put, avoid these road
teams or they’ll end up costing
you.
Atlanta Braves - $1182 (6-16)
To be such
a good home team, the Braves have almost
literally stunk on the road all season
long. That fact could change at some
point, but I’ve got to
see this team win a few road games before
I advise anyone to wager their hard-earned
dollars on the Braves in any road contest.
San Diego Padres - $1070 (8-19)
Let’s see … the Padres
have Jake Peavy who can make a case for
being the best pitcher in all of baseball
any time he takes the mound. In addition
to Peavy, the Padres also have … oh,
that’s right – absolutely
no one!
Cincinnati Reds - $971 (7-17)
I’m
still waiting for this team to trade
Ken Griffey and get some young pitching.
Duh!
Colorado Rockies - $645 (8-16)
No Troy Tulowitzki and one quality starting
pitcher in Jeff Francis equal big problems
for the Rockies.
Detroit Tigers - $581 (9-15)
Let me spell it out for baseball bettors.
The Tigers are in big T-R-O-U-B-L-E.
Until I see some sort of life out of
this ballclub, I say stay away.
