Again, Dungy will rest his starters. He
cannot afford to get a single starter hurt
in what amounts to a meaningless game for
the Colts. The Colts potential first round
match-up in the playoffs are either the
Steelers, these Titans, the Chargers, or
the Jaguars. Any one of those teams has
a good chance of taking it to the Colts
and Dungy is smart enough to know that.
The Colts
aren’t playing for history
like their arch-rivals, the New England
Patriots. So, why not give Peyton a seat
on the bench after one or two series?
That’s what I would do. Even if
that doesn’t happen, I still like
the Titans in this game for the simple
fact that Vince Young will pull something
out of the air in order to get the Titans
close. He’s too good to let his team
lose by more than three points in a super
important game.
Again, if the Titans win they are in.
Expect them to play like a team possessed.
