NFL Wagering - Washington Redskins at Minnesota Vikings
The Washington Redskins, (7-7 SU, 5-7-2
ATS, 6-8 O/U), and Minnesota Vikings, (8-6
SU, 7-5-2 ATS, 7-7 O/U) are fighting for
their postseason lives as they enter this
Week 15 NFC showdown.
The Vikings have won five straight games
and will clinch a spot in the playoffs
for the first time since 2004 with a victory
over the Redskins.
The Redskins have won two straight games
after dropping their previous four games
and is looking to reach the playoffs for
the second time in the last three seasons.
The Vikings will need to get a better
performance from young starting quarterback
Tarvaris Jackson who threw three interceptions
against the Chicago Bears last week, while
the Redskins will also have to figure out
a way to stop explosive rookie running
back Adrian Peterson who torched the Bears
with two second-half touchdowns last week.
The Redskins, have had an emotional season
because of the death of safety Sean Taylor
who died Nov. 27 after being shot during
a burglary at his home in Miami.
The Redskins are ranked 16th in overall
offense, averaging 329.6 yards and 19.6
points per game and tenth in overall defense
allowing 316.8 yards and 20.2 points per
game. Washington pounded the New York Giants
22-10 on the road last week.
The Vikings, are ranked 13th in overall
offense, averaging 338.9 yards and 23.2
points per game. The Vikings are ranked
21st in overall defense allowing 334.6
yards and 18.4 points per game.

Analysis:
I don’t think either team
in this matchup is eight points better
than the other, giving the cover to the
Redskins. While I like the Vikings to win
outright, I say take the ‘Skins to
cover in what looks like a last-second
field goal game.
