The New York
Giants have turned around that whole, ‘there’s no place
like home’ thing completely around
as they enter this weeks’ matchup
against the surprising Buffalo Bills.
The Giants,
(9-5 SU, 8-6 ATS, 6-8 O/U), enter this
week’s matchup against
the Bills looking for their seventh consecutive
road win after falling to the Washington
Redskins 22-10 at home last week. Te Giants
clearly control their playoff destiny as
they will clinch a playoff berth with a
victory in this game.
While the
competitive Bills, (7-7 SU, 8-5-1 ATS,
6-8 O/U), have already been eliminated
from playoff contention, the Giants have
been held to 21 points or less in seven
straight games, though they’ve
managed to win four of those games.
Buffalo’s playoff hopes were killed
by the Cleveland Browns with last week’s
8-0 loss, but Buffalo could clearly play
the role of spoiler.
The Giants
are ranked 17th in overall offense, averaging
328.8 yards and 21.4 points per game,
but have the league’s
seventh ranked overall defense which allows
303.9 yards and 20.9 points per game.
The Bills are ranked 30th in overall offense,
averaging 279.9 yards and 15.9 points per
game and 30th in overall defense, allowing
359.5 yards and 21.4 points per game.
