The last
time these team’s played,
the Steelers embarrassed the Seahawks in
the Superbowl. There have been a few changes,
but the Seahawks would love nothing more
than to get revenge on Ben Roethlisberger
and the Steelers for that loss. But, as
they say, history has a bad habit of repeating
itself.
The Steelers loss to Arizona last weekend
was a major hiccup that the Steelers will
get over. They understand that Wisenhunt
and Grimm knew the ins and outs of their
team, and that gave Arizona a decisive
edge in the contest. Mike Holmgren will
not have that same advantage.
The Seattle
offense is predicated on their seventh
ranked passing offense, which amasses
249.5 yards per game. Matt Hasslebeck is
a smart quarterback who spreads the ball
around efficiently and is able to take
the pressure off of Shaun Alexander. But
the Steelers defense is stingy through
the air allowing only 177.3 yards per game.
Troy Polamalu will get inside Hasselbeck’s
helmet all day, giving the efficient passer
fits.
Last week was a fluke win for the Cardinals,
so the NFL betting faithful can keep their
money safe with the Steelers who are 3-1
ATS. Take Pittsburgh safely as they prove
that their Superbowl victory was no fluke
and that they are, without a doubt, one
of the top teams in the NFL.
