This game
is a little scary because that is a tight
line for Vince Young, who always comes
up huge against monster opponents. No
opponent has sharper teeth then the Colts.
The Titans will have to pray that Chris
Brown’s 175 yard performance
last week was no fluke, and bet on Brown
proving that it had nothing to do with
lady luck. The offensive line of the Titans
is beastly, and the rush defense of the
Colts is weak.
Jeff Fischer
will not pull a Sean Payton, meaning
he won’t stop running the
ball this Sunday. That could prove to be
effective as it keeps Peyton Manning off
the field and exhausts a front four that
still has question marks.
The problem, as it always is with the
Colts, is keeping up with them when Peyton
does step on the field. Manning tossed
for 288 yards and three scores last week
and will be in fine form against the Titans
shaky secondary. They exposed former teammate
Jason David last week, will they do the
same against Nick Harper?
Vince Young is dangerous because he does
something insanely superhuman to keep games
close. Nobody gave him a chance against
Jacksonville last week, and nobody would
give him a chance against Addai and the
Colts. These teams split their meetings
last season and both were marginal victories
(one point, and three points). Expect the
Vince Young Show to be in full force as
the Titans keep this close. But if I were
you, I would keep your betting dollars
as far away from Vince Young as humanly
possible.
