Kansas City Chiefs (0-1) vs. Chicago Bears (0-1)

The Chiefs
look terrible. Larry Johnson touched
the ball ten times, and will certainly
get the ball more often. I have no idea
what the Chiefs see in Eddie Kennison as
a number one option. And it doesn’t
matter who starts at quarterback, because
they both stink (though Croyle has potential).
The Bears
must score on defense, because this season
their entire offense looks like crap.
Grossman either plays well, or just awful,
and there is no way to tell which version
will show up come Sunday. The running
game that bailed him out is gone now.
Cedric Benson doesn’t look
like a starter and Adrian Peterson was
much better with 5.4 yards per carry, compared
to Benson’s 2.4 ypc.
Grossman will have a better day against
the Chiefs who will be relying on field
goals to get past the Bears on the scoreboard.
Despite the Bears lack of production last
week, the step down from San Diego to KC
is massive on the defensive front so feel
comfortable betting on the Bears to win
safely.
